1a. Nominee's Information

This form identifies the primary nominator and the nominee and includes the nominee's signed consent to the submission.

2. Nomination Letter

The primary nominator should draft a letter briefly outlining (2 pages max.) the following for the candidate: 

  1. Outstanding and lasting achievements: Top career accomplishments, with special attention to significant and lasting projects with enduring results.

  2. Academic, technology or policy research, or international development: Current research or policy endeavors, including active engagement in basic or applied research, policy endeavors, policy-to-practice and/or applicable developments, including technologies.

  3. Public Advocacy: Contribution to increasing public awareness of water issues around the world.

  4. Leadership in Water Issues: Demonstrated leadership in advancing safe and sustainable water supply, water conservation and management of water resources.

3. Three Recommendation Letters

Recommendation letters should provide a detailed summary of the candidate's suitability for the Zuckerberg Water Prize as per the 4 criteria above (Section 2). Letters should include the recommender’s letterhead, electronically signed, and limited to two pages each.

4. Curriculum Vitae

The CV should be limited to 4 pages, highlighting the candidate's most important work, including peer-reviewed publications, honors, awards and recognitions.
